Coming on February 28, 2010

Mark the above date on your calendar. Rich Rubietta, an energetic worship leader, will join us at our Sunday worship at 10AM. Please invite a friend.

Rich and I have been talking on the telephone and through emails over the last two months. Rich has been traveling all over Ohio, Illinois, and Wisconsin the past 10 years. We will be collecting a free-will offering to help pay for his ministry. He has been a circuit rider all of his life bringing God’s Word through music to Methodist Churches in the three above mentioned states.

I have included some statements that further describe Rich’s ministry. By the way, Rich was recently in Mayville Wisconsin where the folks loved his worship.

Share Christ’s good news and call to discipleship

  • Develop creative worship services that retain the tradition of great hymns while engaging both our youth and the unchurched
  • Help people experience God in less self-conscious and more animated worship
  • Call forth the artistic gifts of laity and clergy and train Youth and Adults to lead worship together
  • Seek God with the musical styles of many cultures
  • Be of service to persons of all economic and social classes
  • Introduce original electronic and acoustic music based upon the UM Hymnal, TFWS, new worship songs from around the world and original scripture based songs.

Rich also brings his talents to Youth and Adult camps, weddings, and special performances. He is a United Methodist Pastor of 18 years. His CD “Room 4U and Me” received a 2004 Parents Choice Approved Award.
